Join us at some of the most popular kid’s spots in New York City including City Treehouse and Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center, Karma Kids Yoga, J&R Jr.! The Creative Kitchen is cooking up fun all around Manhattan! Take your kids on a hands-on culinary adventure as The Creative Kitchen shows them how they can help prepare delicious meals the whole family will love. Cook with Me at J&R Jr.
11:30am to 12:30 pm, Wednesdays, 9/12-11/14
The first floor of J&R, filled with high tech gizmos, may be paradise for parents but upstairs the new J&R Jr. is a candyland for kids! The Creative Kitchen has teamed up with J&R Jr. to offer hands-on cooking classes. Kids make age-appropriate recipes that focus on themes, colors, numbers, and shapes. Toddlers have fun with their adult chaperone (required) cooking and eating and a delicious dish in each class. Icing on the cake–kids have a blast making food related arts and crafts! (Ages 2 to 5.)

The Creative Kitchen Lunch Club at Karma Kids Yoga
12:00- 1:00pm, Mondays, 10/1-12/03
The Creative Kitchen nourishes minds and bodies at our newest location, Karma Kids! NYC kids can have pretty tight schedules, so let us help little bodies recharge with a wholesome lunch and unwind with a few yoga stretches. Children experience different flavors and textures of wholesome ingredients while getting hands-on to create balanced dishes that stimulate the senses. Incorporate good-for-you foods into your kid’s diet while focusing on themes such as numbers, colors, and shapes. Everyone enjoys their delicious creation for lunch at the end of class. (Ages 2 to 5.)

Fun Foods for Toddlers at MYDCC
10:30-11:30am, Mondays, 10/1-12/17 (Ages 2 to 4.)
11am-12pm, Thursdays, 10/4-12/20 (Ages 2.5-5.)
This class brings age-appropriate recipes to toddlers and their families, with a special focus on themes, colors, numbers and shapes. No playing pretend here! Kids whip-up recipes in a real culinary kitchen! Parents learn how to get toddlers to help in the kitchen and incorporate new, wholesome foods into the family’s diet.

Fun with Food at City Treehouse

As most NYC mommies know, City Treehouse, an indoor treehouse and water playland, is a kid-favorite! Join Cricket and The Creative Kitchen on Tuesdays to get hands-on and make recipes that feed the brain and the belly, while focusing on age-appropriate themes such as numbers, textures, colors and shapes. Everyone eats their dish at the end! Adult participation required. (Ages 2 to 4.)

Everybody Eats Lunch at City Treehouse

Make and eat lunch with The Creative Kitchen at NYC’s most beloved indoor tree house then have a splash in the water play area, no need to wait an hour after eating! Cricket Azima and The Creative Kitchen present a hands-on cooking series. Recipes feed the brain and the belly, focusing on age-appropriate themes such as numbers, colors and shapes.
